A simple setup for a more consistent screen.

A movement history is easier to understand when you begin each screen in a similar way. A few practical habits can make the assessment process more consistent.

Give the camera a clear view

Choose a clear, well-lit area with enough space to complete the guided movement. Position your supported phone or iPad so the camera can see your whole body, and follow the framing instructions in the app.

Check that other people or objects are not blocking the camera’s view. You do not need body-mounted sensors or wearables to complete the screen.

Follow the guidance each time

Take a moment to read or listen to the on-screen instructions before starting. Let the guided flow determine when you begin and finish the movement.

When screening again, use a similar camera position and space. A consistent process gives you a more useful basis for comparing results.

Bring context to your results

Review the indicators together and compare them with previous assessments when available. A change in a score is a reason to look more closely, rather than a diagnosis or an explanation by itself.

If you have pain, a recent injury, or a concern about whether the movement is appropriate for you, speak with a qualified professional before starting.
